9 Best Padel Bags UK (2026): Backpacks, Racket Bags and Covers

Jamie Holt29 September 2026

A padel bag isn't glamorous, but it's the thing you'll use every single time you play. And if you've spent £100 on a carbon racket, it's also the cheapest insurance you can buy.

Here's what's worth buying in the UK, from a £10 cover to a full racket bag.

The 9 best padel bags

HEAD Base Padel Bag

Best overall

1. HEAD Base Padel Bag

  • Backpack construction
  • 2 main compartments
  • Accessory pocket
  • 1–3 rackets

The Base bag does the basics well. It has backpack straps, two large compartments so rackets and kit don't mix, an accessory pocket for balls and keys, and room for one to three rackets. It's sold by Amazon, too.

It's the bag I'd suggest to most people who've just bought their first racket.

Bullpadel Tour Bag

Best budget racket bag

2. Bullpadel Tour Bag

  • Racket bag
  • Multiple compartments

Bullpadel's Tour range is its entry-level bag line, and this is the classic "paletero" shape you'll see at every club: long, with a separate racket section and room for kit.

There are several colours and a white version if you like matching your racket.

adidas Carbon Control Bag

Best all-rounder

3. adidas Carbon Control Bag

  • Racket compartment
  • Main zipped compartment
  • Carry or backpack

A separate zipped racket compartment, a main compartment for clothes, and handles that let you carry it as a bag or wear it as a backpack. The polyester shell wipes clean, which matters after a wet evening on outdoor turf.

Buy it if
You want flexible carrying and separate racket storage.
Skip it if
You need room for four rackets.

Best mid-range bag

4. Bullpadel Avant S Racket Bag

  • Racket bag
  • Carbon-look finish

The Avant S is a popular, well-reviewed Bullpadel racket bag with a smart gold and carbon-look finish. It's a step up from the Tour bag in looks, at a similar size.

You want a slightly more premium Bullpadel bag at a fair price.

5. Bullpadel 4-Racket Thermal Bag (BPPEX005)

  • Up to 4 rackets
  • 2 thermal compartments
  • Ventilated shoe pocket
  • 58 × 30 × 33cm

This is the best-specced bag here for the money. It has two thermally insulated racket compartments, room for up to four rackets, and a ventilated shoe pocket that keeps muddy soles away from clean clothes.

It's ideal if you play straight from work or carry spare rackets for friends.

You carry two rackets, shoes and a change of clothes.

  • 65L
  • 3 compartments
  • Thermal
  • Ventilated shoe pocket
  • Backpack straps

At 65 litres with three compartments, thermal protection and a ventilated shoe pocket, this is the one for players who bring everything. The backpack straps make it easier to carry than most big racket bags.

7. NOX Luxury Open Series Backpack

  • Backpack
  • Side-opening racket compartment
  • Up to 3 rackets

A tidy backpack with a side-opening compartment for up to three rackets, plus removable handles. The black and brown finish is more commuter than locker room, which is handy if you head to the club from the office.

Babolat Padel Cover

Best cover

9. Babolat Padel Cover

  • 1 racket
  • Thermal insulation
  • Shoulder strap

The simplest option: a zip-up sleeve with thermal insulation and a shoulder strap. It's the minimum I'd use for any carbon racket, and it slips into a gym bag.

If you'd prefer a padded cover with a handle, the Raquex Enigma cover is a well-reviewed alternative.

Buy it if
You want to protect one racket and carry everything else in your usual bag.
Skip it if
You want room for balls, keys and a drink.

How we picked

We looked for bags and covers from established padel brands that are currently sold on Amazon UK, covering different sizes and budgets. Capacity, compartments and thermal features are taken from each listing. Where a listing doesn't say whether the racket pocket is insulated, we've marked it "see listing" rather than assuming.

Why thermal compartments matter in the UK

Padel rackets are foam and resin. Leave one in a car in July and the heat can soften the core and resin over time. Leave it in a freezing boot in January and the racket plays stiff and dead until it warms up, and cold carbon is more likely to crack on a hard frame hit.

A thermal-lined pocket doesn't make your bag a fridge. It just slows temperature changes. That's enough to protect a £100+ racket.

What size bag do you need?

One racket, walk-in-and-play: A cover or small backpack.

One or two rackets, plus balls, water and a towel: A backpack or mid-size racket bag like the HEAD Base or adidas Carbon Control.

Straight from work with shoes and a change of clothes: A racket bag with a separate shoe pocket, like the Bullpadel 4-racket bag or Dunlop FX.

Finish your kit list

A bag is also where the small stuff lives. Grab overgrips, a frame protector and a ball pressuriser, and a spare tube of padel balls. Then book a court.
