8 Best Advanced Padel Rackets UK (2026)
Jamie Holt29 September 2026

These are the rackets people buy when their game has outgrown the £100–£150 bracket. They have stiffer carbon faces, more precise balances and, often, a pro's name on the frame.
They're not magic. A top-end racket makes a clean, fast swing more powerful and more precise. It also punishes a mishit more than a club racket does. If you're not sure you're ready, start with our intermediate racket guide.
If you are, here's what's worth a look in the UK this year.
Quick picks
- Best overall: NOX AT10 Genius 18K Alum: Tapia's all-rounder, with a stiffer 18K face.
- Best for control: Bullpadel Vertex 05: Juan Tello's balanced racket.
- Best for power: Bullpadel Hack 04: an aggressive diamond with an 18K face.
- Best for smashes: HEAD Coello 2026: Arturo Coello's attacking line.
- Best softer diamond: Babolat Viper Soft Juan Lebrón 3.0: power without the harshest feel.

The 8 best advanced padel rackets

Best overall
1. NOX AT10 Genius 18K Alum 2026
- Teardrop
- 18K alum carbon
- All-round
- 2026 model
The AT10 is Agustín Tapia's racket line, and the 18K Alum is the stiffer, more solid version of the popular 12K model in our intermediate guide. You get more pace when you hit through the ball and a crisper feel at the net.
It's still a teardrop, so it defends better than a diamond. That's why it's our top pick: it suits more advanced players than any other racket here.
- Buy it if
- You play all over the court and want a racket that does everything at a high level.
- Skip it if
- You're moving up from a beginner racket. Try the 12K version first.

Best for control
2. Bullpadel Vertex 05 2026
- 12K carbon
- MultiEVA
- Curvaktiv
- Juan Tello
The Vertex is Bullpadel's flagship line, and the 05 is Juan Tello's 2026 racket. Bullpadel describes it as its most balanced option. It pairs a 12K carbon face with a MultiEVA core and adds vibration-damping features to protect the arm.
It's the easiest racket on this list to switch to from an intermediate teardrop.
- Buy it if
- You want power and control in one racket, with some comfort built in.
- Skip it if
- You want an outright power racket. Look at the Hack 04.

Best for power
3. Bullpadel Hack 04 2026
- Diamond
- TriCarbon 18K
- MultiEVA
- Aerodynamic frame
The Hack is Paquito Navarro's attacking line. The 04 uses an 18K TriCarbon face and an aerodynamic frame designed to speed up your swing. Bullpadel pitches it as a racket for fast, explosive shots.
It's one of the cheaper rackets here, but it's the least forgiving. Buy it for your smash, not your lobs. There's also a Hack 04 Hybrid for a little more control.
- Buy it if
- You play on the left and finish points overhead.
- Skip it if
- You spend most rallies defending from the back glass.

Best for smashes
4. HEAD Coello 2026
- Carbon hybrid face
- Power Foam
- Auxetic 2.0
- Extreme Spin
Arturo Coello's HEAD range is built for attacking players. It has a carbon hybrid face, HEAD's Power Foam and Auxetic 2.0 for feel, and a textured surface for spin.
This listing covers several models in the 2026 range (Pro, Motion and Team), and the price depends on which you choose. Check the model before you buy. The Pro is the heaviest and most demanding.
- Buy it if
- You're an aggressive net player who wants maximum pop and spin.
- Skip it if
- You want a light, forgiving frame.

Best NOX diamond
5. NOX AT10 Genius Attack 18K Alum
- Diamond
- 18K alum carbon
- MLD Black EVA
- 360–375g
This is the diamond version of the AT10. It has the same 18K alum-carbon faces as our top pick, but with a head-heavy shape for more power overhead. NOX says the Pulse system and EOS flap help reduce vibration.
It's last season's model, which is often good news: it has lots of reviews and it's still easy to find.
- Buy it if
- You like the AT10 but want a more aggressive shape.
- Skip it if
- You want the 2026 version. This is the 2025 model.

Best softer diamond
6. Babolat Viper Soft Juan Lebrón 3.0
- Diamond
- Soft carbon
- Multi-EVA
- Reinforced core
Juan Lebrón's Viper is one of the most aggressive rackets in padel. The Soft version uses a softer carbon face, which keeps much of the power but takes the edge off the vibration. Babolat adds a reinforced central bar in the core for stability.
It's a good choice for strong players in their 30s and 40s who want to keep hitting hard without paying for it the next morning.
- Buy it if
- You want diamond power but your arm doesn't love stiff rackets.
- Skip it if
- You want maximum stiffness and pop. Try the Technical Viper.

Best for manoeuvrability
7. Bullpadel Vertex 05 Hybrid
- Hybrid
- 365–375g
- 12K carbon
- Medium balance
The Hybrid version of the Vertex 05 has a medium balance and a slightly different shape, aimed at players who value handling. It still uses a 12K carbon face and a MultiEVA core.
It's for the kind of player who wins points with quick volleys rather than big smashes.
- Buy it if
- You want the Vertex but with quicker hands at the net.
- Skip it if
- You want the cheapest route into the Vertex range.

Most aggressive
8. Babolat Technical Viper 3.0
- Diamond
- Carbon
- 2026 model
The Technical Viper is Babolat's top power racket. It's stiff and head-heavy, and it's built for players who end points with vibora and smash. The 3.0 is the 2026 model.
It's the most expensive racket here and it's imported, so allow for delivery time. For most people the Viper Soft is the smarter buy. The Technical Viper is for players who know exactly what they want.
- Buy it if
- You're a strong, fit attacking player and want the stiffest Babolat.
- Skip it if
- You've had any elbow trouble at all.
How we picked
These rackets come from the brands that dominate the pro tour. They're currently sold on Amazon UK and sit above the price range of our intermediate picks. We checked shape, face material and weight against each listing and the manufacturer's specs. Where a listing doesn't say, we've marked it "see listing". Many are sold by specialist padel retailers through Amazon, so check the seller and returns policy before you buy.
Are you ready for an advanced racket?
Probably, if most of these are true:
- Your Playtomic level is 4.0 or higher.
- You play three or more times a week.
- You hit a consistent bandeja and vibora, not just a flat smash.
- Your current racket feels like it's holding you back when you attack, not when you defend.
If you mostly lose points on errors, a stiffer racket will make that worse. Book a lesson instead.
12K, 18K and soft carbon
Higher carbon numbers usually mean a stiffer, more solid face. That gives more power on fast swings but less "free" power on slow balls, and more vibration through the arm.
"Soft" and "Comfort" versions use softer foam or carbon to keep more feel. If you've had elbow problems, start there.
Protect a £200 racket
Stick a frame protector on it the day it arrives. Carry it in a bag with a thermal compartment. Carbon rackets hate hot car boots in summer and freezing ones in winter.
Last season's models are often £40–£80 cheaper for almost the same racket, so check the year in the listing title.
Then book a court and find out what it can do.
