Padel Court Booking Cost UK (2026 Prices)
3 May 2026
Jamie Holt

Most UK padel clubs charge £20 to £60 per court per hour, not per person. Last checked June 2026 against venues listed on Padel Court Finder.
Split four ways in doubles and you are often looking at £8–£15 each for an hour's play, which is why the sport spread so quickly once courts opened outside London.
Typical UK booking prices
| Time slot | Price per hour (court) |
|---|---|
| Off-peak weekday (before 5pm) | £20 – £35 |
| Peak evening / weekend | £35 – £60 |
| Central London premium | £50 – £70 |
Clubs quote the court fee upfront. Balls are sometimes included; racket hire is usually £2–£5 extra.
Real examples by region
Prices move with demand, but these bands match what we see on listings:
London: £48–£65 for a Friday 7pm slot at central venues. Cheaper boroughs and outer zones drop to the high £30s off-peak.
Manchester / Leeds: £28–£42 peak, £22–£32 weekday afternoons at newer purpose-built centres.
Bristol / Cardiff: £30–£45 peak outdoor in summer; indoor premiums of £5–£10.
Scotland: £22–£38 in Edinburgh and Glasgow, with launch pricing at new sites sometimes under £20 midweek.
Compare padel courts near you before booking. Two clubs on the same high street can differ by £15 an hour.
Peak vs off-peak
Peak windows are fairly consistent:
- Weekday evenings (~5pm–9pm)
- Weekend mornings through early afternoon
Off-peak saves 30–50% at many clubs. A £55 peak slot in London might be £34 on a Tuesday at 2pm.
Cost per person in doubles
| Court fee | Each pays (4 players) |
|---|---|
| £24/hr | £6 |
| £32/hr | £8 |
| £40/hr | £10 |
| £48/hr | £12 |
| £60/hr | £15 |
Two players on a full court pay the same court fee, so singles practice costs double per head unless the club offers a reduced singles rate (rare).
Membership vs pay-as-you-play
Monthly memberships (£10–£40) often knock £5–£15 off each booking or unlock priority slots. Worth it if you play weekly; casual players can stay on guest rates.
Indoor vs outdoor
Outdoor: £20–£45/hr typical. Indoor: £30–£60/hr with year-round demand. Indoor builds cost more to operate, which feeds through to hire rates. See build costs if you are weighing investment on the operator side.
How many courts are out there?
The UK market is still expanding. Our directory tracks how many padel courts exist nationally and adds venues as they open.
Saving money on bookings
- Book off-peak midweek
- Fill four slots before you split cost
- Watch for new-club launch offers
- Try outdoor courts in summer
- Compare neighbouring venues on the court directory
Playing once a week at £40/hr split four ways is roughly £40/month per player. Less than many gym memberships, with a clearer social pull.
