Padel Score Cheat Sheet: What Your Court Side Means

Lost the score mid-game? Look at which side the server is on.

Every game starts on the right. After each point, the server switches. That alone tells you which scores are possible — and which are not.

If you’re serving from the left

You’re on the ad side. One, three, or five points have been played. It could be 15–0 or 0–15. It could be 40–30. It cannot be 15–15.

Possible scores:

• 15–0, 0–15
• 40–0, 0–40
• 30–15, 15–30
• 40–30, 30–40

If you’re serving from the right

You’re on the deuce side. Zero, two, four, or six points have been played. It could be 0–0, 15–15, or 30–0. It cannot be 15–0.

Possible scores:

• 0–0, 15–15
• 30–0, 0–30
• 30–30, 40–15
• 15–40, 40–40

How to use it

Next time someone calls “15–15” while you’re serving from the left, you already know that’s wrong — without replaying the whole game in your head.
